On the first Thursday of each month, 2 or 3 docents from the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve will enter the SCR at 7:30 AM and count all the birds they see or hear. This project will take about 3 hours. Then we report our findings, including photos if available, to the UCSD person in charge of the natural reserves (formerly Isabelle). We have been doing this every month for approximately 2 years.
